Celebrate Día de Muertos with Manojo Mezcal’s Enchilarse Cocktail

Día de Muertos is just around the corner.

This beautiful Mexican tradition is dedicated to honoring our ancestors and helping them return to the land of the living on November 1-2. This season, elevate your celebration with a delightful cocktail concoction featuring Manojo Mezcal. This spirit pays homage to the rich culture of Oaxaca, Mexico. Crafted with precision and passion, this cocktail combines mezcal’s bright, fresh flavors with the refreshing notes of cucumber and mint. Shake it up and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. Manojo Mezcal
  • ¾ oz. Lime juice
  • ¾ oz. Simple syrup
  • 5 thin cucumber wheels (plus one for garnish)
  • 6-8 torn mint leaves
  • A small pinch of sal (salt)
  • Glassware
  • Nick & Nora glass

Method

Step 1: Prepare Your Ingredients. Gather your cucumber, mint, lime juice, simple syrup, and Manojo Mezcal.
Step 2: Muddle and Shake. Add the five cucumber wheels, torn mint leaves, and a pinch of salt to a shaker. Shake very hard to release the flavors.
Step 3: Mix in the Spirit. Add the Manojo Mezcal, lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
Fine strain the mixture into a chilled Nick & Nora glass to ensure a smooth finish.
Step 4: Garnish. For an elegant touch, finish with a thin slice of cucumber wheel on the rim.
