5 Interactive Toys For More Creative Play and Less Screen Time

Nowadays, parents have many more tools at their disposal to help them keep their kids entertained. But with the advent of technology, streaming, and tablets, kids’ screen time has increased and toys have become a thing of the past.

According to the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), kids between the ages of eight and 12 get an average of four to six hours of screen time daily. For teens, that number shoots up to nine hours. That’s why the AACAP recommends that parents implement a screen-time plan to help curb the effects of too much screen time.

But what are parents to do with their niños while trying to avoid so much screen time? Below we’ve compiled a list of five fun and interactive toys to help get your kid’s creativity flow.
