February is finally here. It’s our favorite month to love ourselves a little bit more, reset realistic intentions, and implement them in meaningful daily habits. It’s our favorite month to move more slowly on purpose and romanticize everything about our routines. I mean, it’s the month of love after all, isn’t it?
If you’re in the same boat, we’re here for you. There’s just something about January that feels like it’s all or nothing—but in all honesty, it’s OK to restart this month. It’s OK to let go of our resolutions if they don’t align with your purpose today. January was a trial month, if you will.
So, how do we focus on this soft reset? Here are tips on how to be softer with yourself and practice self-compassion this month.

Reset your intentions

Create daily habits
People aren’t wrong when they say your daily habits make or break your life. Here are some daily habits to implement in your life to keep yourself in check—and to help move slower every day.
- Drink more water.
- Meditate at least once a day.
- Take more mental health breaks.
- Be less online. (Avoid doomscrolling!)
- Go outside. (Go on a hike, go on a walk outside your block, feel the sun on your skin).
