Emergency Housing Assistance for People and Pets

Temporary Housing for Residents

Airbnb, in partnership with 211 LA, is offering free temporary housing for displaced residents. To apply, fill out the online form to be notified about availability. Please note that space is limited, and submitting the form does not guarantee placement.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be displaced from your home due to the fires.
  • Residing in an evacuation zone is mandatory.
  • An active Airbnb account or the ability to create one is required.
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older.

The Red Cross of Los Angeles is providing shelter assistance. Additionally, the local hotel association has a list of hotels around Los Angeles, including discounts and free rooms for fire victims.

YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles offers temporary showers, shelters, mental health support, and basic amenities. Also, they have teamed up with LA Unified School District to give free childcare services for affected families and essential workers. Register here.
