Five Sunscreens We’re Using This Sun-Filled Season

Ladies, it’s time to take extra care of our skin! With the sun out, we need to remember to take care of the largest organ of our bodies—our gorgeous skin. Don’t know where to start? We’ve got you covered.

There are many sunscreen options nowadays. Some you can spray on, while others you can add into your makeup routine. To be honest, there are so many options and ways to put them on that it can get overwhelming. But just because something may seem like too much, it doesn’t mean it should be skipped. It just needs to be learned.

For example, did you know you should apply sunscreen using the two-finger rule? Many people use only one finger, but the right amount actually is closer to two fingers. According to Curology, the application is described as “an SPF application method that involves squeezing sunscreen along the length of two (2) fingers and applying it all over one section of your body, like your face/neck.” The writer further describes it as “a crystal clear visual guide: your digits are hotdogs and your SPF is mustard,” which honestly is the visualization we needed to get it right.

But it’s not just the two-finger worth of sunscreen, and you’re done with it. It’s the two-finger rule to apply to different parts of your body, including your head, face, neck, left arm, right arm, etc. You get the gist. In other words, it’s the amount for each section of your body. And of course, you have to reapply if you’re out for long.

Now that we have that covered, here are five sunscreens that we love, and you should check out this sun-filled season.
