Different & Creative Ways To Celebrate Easter

Add Your Heading Text Here

The year is flying by. How is it almost Easter already? As we continue to live in our soft era, let’s take a look at how to celebrate Easter a little differently this year. A more relaxing take on Easter.

Don’t know about you, but when we think of Easter’s aesthetic, we think of the iconic marshmallow Peeps, pastel colors, colorful eggs, and being outdoors. Beyond celebrating Jesus’ resurrection, it’s also a day to enjoy with your loved ones and participate in egg-hunting traditions that get the children excited.

But what else can you do besides going to the park and looking for candy-filled eggs? Here are three creative and different ways to celebrate Easter this year—soft and adult-centered.

Host an Easter Brunch

An Easter brunch is traditional, but it’s what you make for it that is different and creative. Hosting is one of our favorite things to talk about at Modern Muze. We’ve already talked about Easter-themed setup ideas—now let’s talk a bit more about food to go with it. Instead of the usual deviled eggs, why not switch it up with your favorite dish in the shape of a bunny or carrot? We’ll bring the carrot-shaped croquettes.

@travellongisland EASTER CINNABUNNIES! 🐰 This is one of my favorite Easter baking traditions and all you need is a can of @pillsbury Grand Cinnamon Rolls 👏🏼 They're the perfect addition for Easter Brunch! #CinnamonRolls #EasterTreats #EasterBaking #Dessert #EasterRecipes ♬ People Everywhere (Still Alive) - Khruangbin
Adult-only Easter Egg Hunts

We need more joy in our lives. Why not channel our inner child and do an adult-only Easter egg hunt this year? Instead of stuffing candy in eggs, what about putting money, stickers, lip glosses, beauty sponges, or earbud sets? The list goes on!

Analog Hobbies at the Park

Doomscrolling is such a bad habit. A good way to disconnect this Easter is by collecting everyone’s electronic devices and asking your loved ones to bring an analog hobby to the park instead. By no means are we saying not to take any photos—make sure to take plenty! But for the bulk of the time together, be mindful and spend time connecting with your loved ones and doing physical activities. Some examples include doing Easter-themed diamond art, crocheting, or puzzles.
